A usable and busy family/business kitchen with character was the brief. The result is just that but with more character than any other working kitchen could boast. Problem areas such as the vast array of plumbing that needed to be boxed in were turned in to a positive and dramatic feature wall of built in shelves. A vintage plan chest was re purposed into a central island, topped with granite and a power source installed to allow for the families cake and pastry making passion whilst still allowing loads of storage. A built in pantry was commissioned with loads of storage for the necessary catering supplies.
Swansea Bed and Breakfast
Carte Blanche was given when designing and styling the interior of this seaside B and B. The four en suite rooms and dining area were transformed to give this business a thoroughly boutique offering. Every element of this project was sourced, designed and handpicked by No.8. from the vintage silk curtains that were made in to cushions, to the military blankets and copper piping which were re worked in to sumptuous curtains. The bathrooms and layouts were designed with ease of maintenance for the clients along with usability and comfort for guests. No. 8 Project then personally styled the guesthouse for it's marketing photography.

Commercial Interior Design, Bar 6 Swansea
Prior to establishing the No.8 Project, I worked closely with Raum architects, developing concepts that were used in designing this bar/restaurant.
Moodboards, sourcing and regular consultations resulted in an eclectic yet sophisticated environment.
A complete overhaul was given to this village barbershop when it was transformed from a tired and dated setting to a sophisticated gentleman's club style space.
The overhaul included using vintage objects styled and displayed in re purposed wooden crates. Bespoke, quirky moustache cushions were commissionedin British tweeds and set against a dark palette and walls adorned with classic Playboy magazines to set a moody vibe
The outside of the barbers was given a totally new look by No.8 Project to tie into the interior. This included new branding, graphics and signage.
